"The Premonition" is a psychological thriller directed by Mennan Yapo. It follows a housewife named Linda Hanson who tries to save her husband Jim from death. She has a dream where her husband is killed in a car accident, but she awakens to find him alive. She has one chance to save his life, but he's not too sure she'll get it.
Later that night, Linda wakes up and sends Jim off to the store with the children, but then she decides to go to church and talk to Father Kennedy. Father Kennedy teaches that people who are not religious are like empty vessels, prone to being influenced by greater forces. And life itself can be a miracle, even if you don't see it. He also says that we shouldn't judge others based on our faith, but we should trust what we believe.
The movie begins with a flashback of Linda and Jim's relationship. Although they were once in love, they now barely speak to one another. Jim is a workaholic and has lost touch with his family. Linda, on the other hand, is a cleavage-revealing housewife. She has three young daughters to raise, and it is her job to decide whether or not to save them.
