A new credit card from Amazon has opened Monday's markets more than 4% higher. The new credit card, called a "Amazon store card," will be issued in collaboration with Synchrony Bank SYF. The card will target consumers with low credit scores that might otherwise find it difficult to qualify for a standard credit card from a major provider. In this way, the company is extending its reach to a demographic that might otherwise be out of luck.
