pinellas park movies

In a recent article, I mentioned the Regal movie theater in Pinellas Park as one of the premier destinations for movie-going. I was also surprised to find out how many films were shot here in a year! Interestingly, there were over 20 films shot in Pinellas Park during the same year! But what's even more impressive? Read on to learn more! Listed below are some facts about movies shot in Pinellas Park.

Regal movie theatre

A visit to the Regal movie theatre in Pinellas Park is a great way to spend an evening with friends or family. This multiple-screen movie complex features a wide selection of new release films, plush seating, and a concession stand. There is a large parking lot nearby for those who don't feel like waiting in line. You can even watch the latest blockbusters from around the world! If you're not sure where to start, here are some ideas:

This theater is located in Pinellas Park, FL, and has two theaters: the Regal Park Place and the RPX. Both theaters are modern and clean, with comfortable seats and nearby restaurants. However, there are some negative aspects to this movie house, like the manager. The theaters are regularly overcrowded, with only three screens running and a long wait between shows. The theaters also often fail to fix the most basic problems, and the staff is rude and unhelpful.

Garces and Yates involved

Film producers David Yates and Sean Astin are getting involved with two new movies in Pinellas County. The filmmakers chose Pinellas County for the film incentive program. "Pet Detective" stars Sean Astin as an undercover FBI agent. Filming is taking place in Largo and Pinellas Park, as well as Seminole. The other film is called "The Plus One," and stars Ashanti and Cedric the Entertainer.

Filmmakers from Hollywood are choosing the Florida sunshine for the films they shoot. The beaches are beautiful, and the location is perfect for filming. In fact, five films will be filmed in Pinellas County in the next few months. Two of them, "Dolphin Tale" and "The Plus One," will be filmed between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Producers of both films are requesting that filming take place in Pinellas Park.

Number of films shot in Pinellas Park in one year

A recent survey showed that Pinellas County, Florida, was the most popular filming location. Films starring Brad Pitt, John Travolta and Mel Gibson were filmed here. A tourism bureau promoted the area as a movie production destination. It has white-sand beaches, scenic waterfronts and historic downtowns. Recently, the St. Pete/Clearwater Film Commission announced that "A Taste of Love" would be shot in Dunedin, Florida, in the next three weeks. Pinellas County will fund the project partially.

A film commission established in 2018 and staffed by industry professionals and local officials has been helping to attract Hollywood productions to the area. Film Commission member Tony Armer helped establish the Sunscreen Film Festival in St. Petersburg, which has attracted film productions to the region. The film commission has since issued 250 film permits in Pinellas County, and 15 feature films with budgets ranging from $25k to $2 million have been filmed in the region.

The commission, run by Visit St. Pete/Clearwater, produces the Life's Rewards series, which has been streamed on Amazon Prime Video. A second season of the series is currently in the works. Film permits were not provided by AFP officials, but they did list four Lifetime films that were filmed in Pinellas Park. "DOA at the PTA" is a murder mystery that was shot at the Clearwater Police Department, at Tosca Musk's home in Dunedin, and at the Seminole campus of St. Petersburg College. The show will air in 2022.

Visit St. Pete/Clearwater recently unveiled a program that offers 10% cash back for film crews spending locally. The goal of this incentive is to attract four more films to Pinellas County, which would otherwise have been filmed in Oklahoma. The films will likely be aired on Lifetime. The films will each feature a different air date and promote tourism in the region.

Earlier this year, the director of "The Plus One" decided to shoot a movie in Pinellas County. The film will be shot between Thanksgiving and Christmas and stars Ashanti and Cedric the Entertainer. Producers David Yates and Danny Roth will produce the film. In addition to the "Dolphin Tale" movie, two other movies were filmed in Pinellas County.

The Tampa Bay Times, formerly known as St. Petersburg Times, has been the most important newspaper in the county for decades. As the largest newspaper in the area, it is a prominent source of local news and culture. The free daily tabloid tbt* is distributed in the city's more populated areas. Creative Loafing Tampa is the main alternative weekly. And, because the area is situated on the Bay, the area is also home to a major international airport, which is just across the bay.

In addition to "Dolphin Tale," another movie will be shot in Pinellas County within the next few months. A producer in the film's world contacted the Clearwater Marine Aquarium and made it available to the film crew. The second movie, "The Plus One," will be shot between Thanksgiving and Christmas. The first movie, "Double Diamond," will shoot in Pinellas Park, while "The Plus One" will film in Tampa Bay, Florida.
